Motivation: what’s your key?

As individuals its quite hard  to motivate yourself, and keep going towards a goal that you are constantly trying to accomplish. But, what can one do to push one ’s self  forward to continue on to the finish line? While reading an article called, “The Importance of Self-Motivation",Sean Minogue. The author made it clear that the key to motivation is to own the place you are in your life right now. Make it a key to better yourself in your current position, and then work towards how you can better yourself and reach your goals from that point.  I agree with this outlook, I personally believe you should be happy with what God has currently blessed you with, and if you are able to show Him that you’re grateful with what you have in the present, He will guide you and help you stay motivated to acquire the goals that you have for yourself.

Motivation is something that can seem quite simple at the beginning, but if you’re like me the feeling of actually accomplishing that goal is not lasting at times. Some of the things that you can do to improve your motivation skills for your self is to first acknowledge what you want to accomplish. You should map out your goal, what actions you need to take to achieve that goal, and also make sure that your goals fit into your reality. Also, it’s important to ensure that you understand the overall loses that you might occur while achieving your goal. With that begin said also reward yourself for every milestone you achieve on the way to your goal. This will help you to keep yourself encourage throughout your journey.

Remember that finding the key to your motivation can be a hard and  long journey, but you have to remember that you will acquire some challenges and failures on your way to achieving your goals, but stay encouraged and keep moving forward. Everyone’s key to motivation will be different, but when you find yours, you can very well achieve your goal. You only have one life, one chance so put forth your very best.
